Yeah, this is something on which, the current state of our culture is really sad. There is both active cultural pressure to disregard the danger of uploading things, and a lack of passive design that could help people be more aware of what they’re doing, since these big social media companies want you using them as much as possible (thinking of Snapchat streaks, which are supposed to be “private” too…)

Going around ‘screenshot protections’ as well as screenshot detection of any form, is trivial. It takes 15 minutes of modding any app (using Re-Vanced) to permanently bypass them, and is even more trivial if the other person is on pc.
