Good move. An unfortunate reality when your project grows too big you gotta step back slightly and be a little ninja in hiding

Yeah no way Valve sells a non-functional device, defeats the entire purpose of the product

In theaters July 10th btw

It is quite a long trailer. Not much reason to watch this if you already know you want to see the movie lol

6.14 is “not that old” but probably has issues with laptops that are sitting in Best Buy right now. I think it’s pretty important to have support for modern hardware.
I’ve seen lots of people complain about trying to get their WiFi working on Linux and they get frustrated and switch back to Windows. I wonder how many of those people were on a kernel that’s “not that old”

One thing to note, if you’re doing this on a daily basis, those posts get collapsed together on Lemmy. Sometimes I avoid this because Lemmy favors the oldest post instead of the newest one, so I’ll put the URL in the body of the post instead of making the post link to the url.

sounds good to me, new hardware compatibility is a big weakness of using such old kernels
honestly I was hoping Windows would just roll over and die without a fight lol, I’m disappointed they’ve done something that might be good

same, Kubuntu 26.04 asks for my password when running the exploit script

hide the templates folder that nobody knows what is it for, so it becomes .templates
I think the templates folder is for the “New File” items, I forget how it works but you can make custom new files similar to new Text File, Empty File, etc

ooohhh Plasma Login Manager. Anyone tried it yet?

I ran into this recently lol. You can avoid it by changing your user agent. You can do this is dev tools but there’s probably an extension that makes it easy

Would this also include Android?

I’m gonna say Frieren (woa big surprise). It appeals to a lot of people, doesn’t have odd anime tropes, and has a great dub. It also has some action scenes so someone can see if they want to watch more action animes.

Seems like Steamdeck 2 will probably be ARM. Maybe Steamdeck 10 will be RISC-V lol
