  • The cool thing about socially necessary labor is that is also includes the value added by our ancestors, like the infrastructure built or the technology researched over generations. We literally can’t build a modern house without the contributions of the entirety of humanity throughout history.

Of course, the logical conclusion to this is that any commodity cannot be claimed by any one person, and ownership must be claimed by humanity as a whole. An individual may use the product, but for example, the owner of the construction company has no moral claim on the house that his workers built.

Unfortunately, society is at a place where enough men have posed a risk to women that we are all a perceived potential threat.

And women are stepping up to protect each other. Instead of asking women to not step up, you should be asking men to step up and stop normalizing things like locker room talk and porn consumption, things that are proven to increase misogyny and dangerous attitudes of entitlement around sex.

It’s funny how libs always assume that moral objectors aren’t doing anything besides voting. Do you think we aren’t out organizing our communities so that eventually we will have the mechanism to destroy the train?

And how do you think that mechanism gets built if it doesn’t start with a refusal to get on the train in the first place?

And finally, if moral objectors are so impotent and meaningless, then why do you keep blaming us for your candidate’s loss?

I think people are so bombarded with all the bad shit happening in the world and the constant stress of competing with everyone just to survive that they purposefully disengage and retreat into comfy bubbles of entertainment. So when reality eventually demands some sort of action, they rely on the media to tell them the easiest thing they can do to get back to the comfort zone as fast as possible.

  • Fascism is a top-down ideology. It happens when capitalists feel that ordinary people are close to demanding a more equitable society, and they use it to divide society and assert their own authority. It is often described as a petit-bourgoise ideology because that is where the fascist capitalists find the most fertile ground - people who used to be able to afford a good life, but who can’t anymore. Of course, the irony is that the reason they can’t afford a good life is because the capitalists are siphoning off more and more of the wealth.
