Heat or no heat, if you leave your kids at age 2 and 4 alone in your car, you’re clearly a stupid idiot who lacks all form of intelligence.
It really angers me when their stupid actions affect innocent and helpless people like these two poor kids.

I’ve been using Mailbox.org, both private and for my business, for 5 years now. I have nothing bad to say about them or their service.
Well. I would like to see a referral program! They have a lot of paying customers because of me, but you don’t get anything in return.
No worries!
I understand that it might not be for everyone. I’m generally speaking against unethical soul sucking algorithms, which is why I don’t use social medias (other than this account and one on GoToSocial). However. I find the algorithm for YouTube to be good as long as you stay aware of it.
Talk to the person in charge of the meeting room. Every meeting room should have good ventilation, electricity and water. It’s like human rights kind of stuff. :D
Thank you! I’ll look them up. :D
I’m fully aware of that, this is partly why I would like to avoid a Google account, even though the only thing I use it for, is YouTube. I don’t like Google at all.
A local-only client (or something that’s at least privacy respecting) is what I’m looking for, which is why this I submitted this topic. Do you have any recommendations?
That’s the client that I’ve been using for a few years on my Android TV. However. It requires a Google account to work. :/
Thank you! I’ll look into it.
Thank you for the, well… human reply! :D
I know all about this, both from a moral and technical standpoint. And I have seen the algorithm do this multiple times, but I’m aware of it, and I only watch wholesome family friendly content, which is mainly about tech, bikes and coffee. I don’t care for politics, drama or anything like that, which is why it’s quite easy to spot the dark rabbit holes I get presented with from time to time. :)
Recommendations from friends only work if you have friends. I do get recommended videos on social media (which is the fediverse for me), but it’s rare. I actually like checking my inbox, and if I don’t feel like watching something there, I just go and see the rekommendations, which is not always good, but they do have some fun stuff from time to time. I have found most of the channels that I subscribe to there.
Oh! That is a no go for me then. I only use open source software.
Thanks! I’ll look into them and the controversy.
Thanks! It looks to be limited to phones only, but it seems like, technically speaking, the best option.
Thanks! I’ll look into Freetube.
Didn’t you talk about getting a new laptop computer?
It always stays in your backpack at home, and your meeting rooms at work don’t have electricity?
I don’t understand. A laptop computer on standby lasts days on battery?
If I had to regularly use a laptop computer I would charge it every day when I got home. It would just have been part of the daily routine I have when I get back home from work.
Cool. I’ll check it out!
Mostly content like Probably Riding, Jeff Geerling and Lance Hedrick.
How often do you work for 12-14 hours straight without any access to electricity?
If Linux is actually of any interest for you, giving up on it because of a few hours of battery life, feels weird for me. Why not invest in a power bank or make it work some other way.
With that said. You’re obviously free to use whatever you want to. I personally can’t stand Apple and their incredibly barebones, limited and locked down operating system.
What case do you have? CPU fan? Case fans? How have you set it all up?
