Right now, NOTHING should be controlled by the United States. The world is rushing to break away from any dependence on the United States. If the United States attempts to annex Greenland, that is the call to unite against them and fight a war to contain or break them. The United States is now a malicious actor on the world front and those who still claim an alliance are foolish.

They made an interceptor version of the SR-71 called the YF-12. I don’t know if it ever entered service though.

I think the contractor was incompetent. From what I understand, he was a Trump donator and was basically gifted the contract. They used pipe liner to coat the pond which would have peeled anyway, but then they poured in hydrogen peroxide which quickly deteriorated it. …and of COURSE he didn’t get paid.
