Thanks for the background! I didn’t know all the cyberpunk/computer context of the word. I was just using daemons as shorthand for the anime. The His Dark Materials series also has Daemons, but those are essentially animal representations of a piece of your soul.

Daemons is not cyberpunk, it’s mostly fantasy and that’s about all I can say about it until you’ve seen/read it. It’s a good anime so far. I recommend it!
