The whole AI scam has always been the techbro CEOs snatching the money from the non-techbro CEOs. Me or you as a private person was never the direct aim. . . . General artificial intelligence will not come. We don’t even have artificial intelligence yet. The terms artificial and intelligence contradict themselves. It’s an oxymoron. It’s still just machines that learn shit without body and soul…

In any orientation it looks unreal and unsettling. I am glad the white sharks don’t have feet.

Athens center has almost no more inhabitants or locals living there. It’s just tourists, bars, shitty street food, so called boutique hotels, and BnBs wherever you look. Most of them are recognizable by the number locks on the main door. Some are private, some are public. I do remember when the center had old locals living there, many years ago. You could rent a flat for fair money. You could even imagine studying or living there. Now it’s just BnB squatters all over the place.
I am using a handcart too for some years. It can be converted to a bike trailer in a few seconds. You can mount a box with straps or drill holes for custom mods. It has a max. load of 80kg. Possibly one of my most useful purchases in the last years.
I admire the dutch.
Anyone here remembering when the MacOS Wacom tablet driver would slow down the boot process to minutes - and partially the system, too? And everybody was just accepting it 🤷
We have only very few days where we have extreme icecoldness around. It’s a moderate climate. I never monitored how much less power it uses outside than inside… But It stricked me that the cooling cycles are much shorter in winter after I had put it outside.
Some old farm houses still have that around here. But it is outside below a small hill or a slope. Some call it Kartoffel Keller. And some still use it for long time storage.
I am using a fridge outside: It is like a small balcony first floor with a roof and cool most of the year. So #1 and #2 are checked. For #3 I have a small Japanese compressor fridge in the kitchen, only for the very important daily things like milk. The mustard stays in the outside fridge. The kitchen fridge never uses more than 30W for cooling. But only IF it runs. So that checks #3.
Can anyone explain why almost everyone operates a fridge inside a heated house in winter while there is “a fridge outside”. Would the fridge not need less power to cool down the insides when it’s already cold outside?
Am I really the only one in this world with a fridge outside?
Not going to fight about it. Sorry gotta go, to replace some transistors in the back of my head.
