I use Brave browser because it’s the best option on Android. Firefox and their forks are too slow and insecure.

I’m willing to bet dual-booting will require an unlocked bootloader. There goes your security if this is true.
You could install GrapheneOS on a Pixel and set up multiple users? Up to 32 if you want. Some can have Google Play Services and some of those can be signed into a Google account while others are just using GP Services without signing in.
Much faster to switch between users than booting a second OS.

According to TravelMath that is a 7.5 hour trip driving. I don’t know what multiple plane tickets cost but driving has got to be cheaper, especially splitting gas among several people. Take away the hour delay, checking through security (do they still recommend arriving at the airport 2 hours early?), finding your luggage, renting a car - I don’t see driving taking very much longer than getting on a plane.

It was a joke.
Anyway, downloading offline maps using any number of apps is an option as is installing a dedicated GPS unit in the car.

I believe they are confirming they haven’t seen a paper map nor know how to use one. lol

Identity Verification was always the goal. “Protecting the children” is a scam.

The partnership was announced months ago by Motorola and GrapheneOS. The phone hadn’t been named but should be released in 2027.

I thought I was clear about that.

I’ve been on the fence as to what my next phone will be based on the specs, Pixel or Moto, with GrapheneOS.
No freakin way is Google getting any of my money.
Time to investigate the I2P network and spend less time on the clearweb.
Yeah, I don’t get it either. I read that only 3% of companies using “ai” saw a return on investment. Companies started re-hiring the humans because the “ai” turns out to be shit. We can’t even produce the power to run these models at scale.
I don’t talk about privacy with normies. If they bring it up, I’m happy to discuss.
I think privacy is very slowly becoming more mainstream and a large part of that is thanks to google. Installing “ai” on devices, deleting peoples’ accounts, making installing non-play store apps more difficult, will ultimately encourage more people to degoogle their lives.

I’m running GrapheneOS with their sandboxes Google Services. Its rare to find an app they doesn’t run. My bank and credit card’s apps are full of trackers so I just use a PWA.
Considering those youtubers have their faces on camera very often, I don’t see how being recorded by a Tesla hurts their privacy at all.
As for invading the privacy of the public at large by driving a Tesla, there are cameras everywhere.
Still, anyone driving a Tesla is not someone I’m going to for privacy advice and I wouldn’t listen to Braxman no matter what he drives.

Another reason I’m glad I degoogled my phone.
It doesn’t surprise me Mullvad would do this.
I’m not sure if tagging works in Fedi but here goes @[email protected]

First I’m hearing about this one. I guess OpenMedia, David Fraser, and Michael Geist are too focused on C-22 to talk about S-209.

Forgetting something doesn’t make you stupid.
Nearly every account one can make requires email. You may not use email for communication but you do use email.
