Funny because I watched this and did not get the sense that he was a victim at all in his telling. As he presented it was “Here’s a company being really shitty. They’ve done this to me and all these things to everyone else. They are being really bad.” He was clearly not asking for sympathy and instead calling attention to AMD’s behavior.

When he said “we’ll give them a check” he meant taxpayers, not himself. He is too smart to pay taxes no doubt.
