I’d take a 30% pay cut for the right job but I am not sure if they really exist and are something I could realistically get.

Then post a second listing and pay range for a senior role. If someone applies for senior, treat them based on the upper requirements for the upper pay range.

So you waste your time interviewing the 135k guy and he obviously rejects your shitty offer?

Would you likes ideas

If you know some types of chutney that go well with sourdough rolls I might give it a try. Recently started mixing ground oats in with the bread flour too.

Yeah, never going to vote for someone who rejects the existence of my friends. I’ll vote for someone else and if there is no one to vote for I will draw a giant knob on the sheet in protest of the shit choices.

On a 25 year timescale that is still true. For now at least.

My bike is powered by the bread roll I made for lunch

Not too far from me, had to navigate around a lot of broken glass on my way to work this morning. Did everyone go feral over the weekend? I didn’t get an invite.

Nigel “UP THE RA!” Farage

Best computer I have ever been able to fit in my pocket. Not so great at being a phone though.

If you want a computer that can sometimes do calls and SMS but not very well, its great. For the price I think its a fairly low spec too.

The moment its announced you would see a flood of disinformation campaigns and endless propaganda about how bad the UK is.

Hah yeah fairphone 4, to be fair I do also have a pinephone though.

I get my exercise by cycling to work, sun or storm I have to get to work. So I’ll be cycling 80km a week. That is before any extras like going to the shops or anything else.

Gyms have loads of them in the UK too though so it isn’t just being a shithole. Trivially easy to walkor cycle along coastal paths here.

I know people who spend several times more on exercise bikes than I spend on real bikes.

Didn’t they arrest someone for holding up a blank sign?

Used mssql-server at work where we usually use windows and its a bit shit if you want low memory hosting. Though when I have run MySQL I haven’t tested low resource systems to compare that either tbh.

IKEA does have some nice stuff. Though a lot of the furniture is cheap MDF sadly. Not like you could get real wood for their prices though.

Pinephone 4, got it second hand earlier this year. Dutch company IIRC.

Can’t you run Apache on pretty old hardware? I thought it was something you could happily run on even some of the older versions of raspberry pi. Probably depends on what you are hosting on it of course.

None but we didn’t put up decorations outside. My partner is a teacher and the school do a route for kids with who ever wants to participate and she doesn’t really want them to know exactly where we live.
