It do be like that sometimes. I played a Giff once for DnD…it got wierd.
running pugmire was also a challenge. protip: crop the smutty bits out so you only see the face.
Something I’ve noticed in myself, maybe because of the lack of interest from women at a younger age, is that women will almost throw themselves at you sometimes. Like, yeah I get it, I’m down for that too, but I won’t be able to make it move for you if I don’t know you ma’am.
Or maybe he just wasn’t in the mood? Despite the tropes, men don’t want sex ALL the time, and just like women don’t want to be responsible for the feelings of men, we don’t want to always be responsible for quelling the insecurities of women. This doesn’t even have to be a gendered thing. No one wants to be the only source of validation for their partner. Often we hope they are on some level emotionally mature and self assured.
OP was doing the person equivalent of a cat walking across your keyboard because you were typing instead of petting.
Hmm. A “hey” with three Ys and a smirk… I don’t think Melissa’s bf is the problem.
It always breaks me up a little how important HP was to my friend groups growing up. I mean, all the way into my mid-20s. My trans friends and neurospicy friends both loved Harry Potter, going so far as having themed Christmas stockings. All of those happy memories, all of that money given to someone who turned out to be so spiteful. I can’t look at HP the same way anymore. So many HP fans were queer. It just hurts in a way I can’t fully express. more so that people still support her product.

3·18 days agoMoreover, history books often ignore the inhuman conditions these workers were forced to endure. Look up the Hawk’s Nest Tunnel. They knew how dangerous it was; they knew the workers would be dead within a year(they chewed through them in 3-6 months. Still, they made them work with no protection at all. Fighting takes more than just holding a sign.

2·18 days agoI was pissed when I got to college and learned the truth about the black panthers, police history, labor history, etc. it’s not ALL bad either. Vigilance committees in some places were actually pretty okay by some standards. The Montana Vigilance Committee for example. Still, it wasn’t even college. It was the internet. It was teaching myself by listening to podcasts, reading books, watching videos on old YT that were more than 2 minutes long.

4·18 days agoCapital has been festering division for most of this country’s history. It used racism to keep labor weak.

15·18 days agoThis is why you can’t let them convince you that only nonviolent solutions are acceptable. The state will always wield violence against anything it perceives as a threat. Change is often written in blood. Don’t let them cow you into learned helplessness.

1·2 months agoI switched to Kagi too. Definitely worth $10 to be able to search with some sanity again.
Here’s hoping it lasts for a year or two before falling to enshitification or google.
