Right, we also aren’t measuring political leanings worldwide. We are measuring them in the United States.

In the United States leftist have very few voters and candidates because of its lack of popularity.

When your only options of votes are “guys who have a hard-on for fascism” and “let’s appeal to those who aren’t entirely sold but are willing to see where the fascism goes”,

The reason these are the two options are because these options win in the primaries by the majority of voters choosing them in a democracy.

Leftists run in the primaries and lose fairly, even to AIPAC candidates.

Not that they shouldn’t be trying to win over centrists, they definitely should because there are more centrists than leftists by a lot and those centrists are constituents.

Leftists are the fascist party. They are not interested in what the majority of voters want.

Again, neoliberals have more voters than leftists by a long shot. In a democracy the smallest voting group (leftists) don’t get to decide the candidate, because neoliberals are the people’s choice.

Leftists don’t want a democracy where the people choose. They want to find excuses to let the government slide further right by sabotaging the furthest option to the left (neoliberals) instead of taking action against the right.

Liberals have won the majority of nationwide elections for decades now but everytime they lose an election, leftists (the group that loses the most elections) acts like they know how to run a campaign better. It is as if leftists are completely oblivious to how unpopular they are.
