Linux@lemmy.ml•Framework says it's selling more Linux laptops than Windows as new Laptop 13 Pro sells out first 7 batches
20·26 days agoWow, I was surprised that their release video leaned so much into Linux. They said that this is a response to user feedback. That reminded me of when there was a lot of ask for one-handable phone but their sales were too small. So glad to see it has paid off for framework.
Whoa, very surprising unintended consequence. Thanks.
How does factory farming affect it?
What the?? b12 deficiency is widespread even among meat eaters?

Europe@feddit.org•80,000 protest in Germany urging faster shift to renewable energyEnglish
2·1 month agoThe title sounds like the protestors weren’t asking for any specific steps but
Merz’s coalition, and in particular Reiche – a former energy company executive – have come under fire over various policies, including support for watering down EU-wide car emissions rules and their plans to build more gas-fired power plants.
The chancellor argues steps need to be taken to relieve the burdens on Germany’s struggling manufacturers, and help revive Europe’s biggest economy whose heavy industry has suffered from high energy costs.
Hilarious coz solar+battery is now the cheapest and has near zero international market risk

Microsoft could have been king with with chatgpt for personal superapp, github copilot for developers and something like sharepoint/power vibe widgets. But nooo, they make windows recall when ai models can’t run locally
