Canada@lemmy.ca•Canada takes issue with IOC loosening restrictions on Russian athletes amid Ukraine war
5·3 days agoAbsolute two-faced hypocrisy. Where is the outrage over the Zionist entity’s 80 year genocide and land theft against Palestine? Oh wait, Canada still funds THAT.
This is why it is nonsensical to think about ever sending Americans to reeducation camps. They would have to be educated in the first place to be eligible for RE-education.

Slavery was never abolished in the USA, it is still legal in prisons.
-
The Civil War never really ended, it has just been in a “cold war” phase, and that will probably be warming up before too long.
-
More fun facts, slavery is still legal in the USA (for prisoners) and the USA imprisons a higher proportion of its population than any other country. The ruling class just makes everything illegal and enjoys unlimited slave labor!

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.ca•Anyone else think twice about watching murder mysteries because they don't want their spouse getting any ideas?
1·3 months agoThey wouldn’t make them if there wasn’t an audience. I don’t find murders particularly entertaining, but there is no accounting for taste.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.ca•Anyone else think twice about watching murder mysteries because they don't want their spouse getting any ideas?
21·3 months agoSo the only people who get murdered are the ones that give their murderer a motive to do it? I am reading a LOT of victim blaming on this thread. It certainly is a deeply held cultural belief that “they asked for it” is valid.
Life is not always like that.

With early onset senility it doesn’t matter how you act.
