Wife’s friends always requested that she bring me along even though none of the other husbands/partners were coming. When she’d ask why they would just tell her “he’s fun”. I assume, “without being a tiresome asshole” was the unmentioned part.
I just leave a post-it with “Sorry about the sneeze. I don’t think it hit all of them”
I have a chairdrobe and a lampdrobe. t-shirts and trousers go on the chair and button shirts go on the lamp (cheap torchiere lamp)

0·14 days agoThat is one of the primary reasons that I am interested in the Slate electric pickup in the U.S. No internet – they do have an optional module that one can add if you really want the extra monitoring/controls that having a connected vehicle provides. Music/gps/etc is all via your own device. I don’t know of any other modern vehicle in the U.S. I can get that has that option. (my 14 yr old car is getting to the stage where repairs are more than it is worth)

Which reminds me… The best thing about giving your pet people names, is eventually somebody with that name will become a fixture in your life and then you get to refer to them as “Human Dave” and still call the pet Dave.
