Gonna be more next time… Way more.

Well, I grew up with knowledge of cable pirating in apartment complexes, VHS recording of retals to share or rewatch or watch later, and tape and CD sharing and mixing…
So as far as Im aware pirating was always a easy, viable, and economically savvy choice.
I did explore Netflix for a brief time 15 years ago, but the quality of their service degraded heavily, and I still pirated alongside my Netflix membership, as their content was always limited. And I shared my member ship with others, then later occasionally used a membership that was shared with me, until Netflix broke that system.

Courage, or ego, depending on varous complex genetic factors.
If I get attacked by mosquitoes, even just a few bites, I spray down the whole yard and house siding, and then put out traps.
Figure I kill many for each bite I receive.
That reminds me, I have a zapper and a bat house to install.
Mosquitos messes with the wrong ombre.
Mine does not, but I do it anyway…
That’s the cost of using me as a couch.
Private DNS service.

Ya know, some people actually only get on social media for curated news, to have actual conversations with other humans, or to share or seek advice about specific topics.
I spend most my time in tech, old home remodel, and local/hometown forums.

Yeah, sure, those totally look like polar bear faces and bodies…
Did the artist see any polar bears before carving this, or were they blind and working from verbal description?
Personally, I’m petty sure this is a normal example of 19th century porn.

Well, it looks fine for web browsing.
Specs sure read like my 2010 PC. If that works for ya, cool … I ain’t even looking at the price though. I’d just as soon plug in my 2004 laptop that’s still running fine on XP & an old version of Ubuntu.

Interesting, but there’s no evidence they are nazi themselves, just that they intentionally disregard whether any of their partners are nazis, and only concern themselves with whether or not any partnership furthers their goal of promoting open source tech.
So their focus is just limited and immature.
They themselves can still do a lot of good, orgs don’t need to be perfect, but I too would expect them to remove support for extremist led project when made aware, as to ensure they weren’t inadvertently supporting extremist views and actions. But I also can’t see punishing them for being politically or socially stupid while otherwise being very tech savvy.
Like we’ve never met a socially awkward tech savvy person before?
The world is mostly a bunch of grey areas: at this point I disapprove of a couple of their actions, but I won’t boycott them outright for their error.
If they started flying nazi flags themselves, well, then, I suppose things would be a bit different.

"The name “Zoox” is a reference to Zooxanthellae, a marine organism that, like the Zoox robotaxi, depends on renewable energy and is able to maintain a symbiotic relationship with organisms in its surrounding habitat.“
Actually kinda cool, but appropriately dumbed down to be usable in modern coversation, “hold on a sec, my Zoox just pulled up.”

Fun read. Suprised how much of the codespeak I understood. I’ve run linux here or there, and I used to do some hackery decades ago. I’m no modern botnet runner, but it seems things haven’t changed all too much.

Handy, I VPN, but constantly have to use a seperate bypass browser for shopping and any website which forces language by region, which are many.
I’ve even been to some shopping sites with language options at the bottom but that also have endless scroll, so the bottom keeps getting pushed of screen.
There are a few that have an option right up in the corner, but sometimes they’ll only switch language, not region info, so it still shows costs in pesos and $80 shipping to my region.
The internet is 90% trash nowadays.
Hope this fixes that BS.

It’s funny watching this argument.
I’m from a very hippy community.
I’m a collectivist.
I’m extremely far left & progressive.
I’m wholly anti-fascist.
I’m also 100% in agreement with you regarding including differing opinions regardless of how extreme.
Inclusivity only brodens the divide and limits opportunities for people who harbor extremist views to be influenced toward developing more balanced, functional, and beneficial perspectives.
Moderation can be used to soften their influences in our commuty while including them allows our community to influence them.
I prefer an income cap, 1 million a year, at a standard tax percentage, then all income above 1mil is taxed 100%. Capital gains are treated as income. Any profit is.
But trading value that has already been taxed is not counted as income. So selling a 10mil house for 11mil is only taxed 1mil, as the 10mil was already taxed as income.
Same for corps, but with a 10mil profit cap a year.
The low cap discourages businesses from merging into massive conglomerates that control too much of anything.
We don’t actually need national or international businesses.
Of course I also approve of making for-profits outright illegal. So the cap wouldn’t even be relevant for businesses anyway, as they’d all be public services, and any ‘profits’ they made a year would just be put towards more, or better services, or improved employee compensation packages, or subsidizing costs in the future until prices balance back out, or refunds (all depending on the business/industry).
Why the hyphen?
