No that’s health insurance leading to the ability to actually go to the doctor when you’re sick
That comes with experience. I rarely find things I wrote anymore where I could add or remove a comment.

United States | News & Politics@lemmy.ml•House candidate Maureen Galindo pledges to send 'American zionists' to internment camp
19·2 days agoWTF, do you hear yourself talking.
Huh? I always write “the Christian god” because that’s just what makes most sense to someone treating all religions equally. Why would that be considered edgy in some way?
The issue with that comparison is that math is constructed from pure logic based on axioms, whereas the real world just is and our mental models can always only approximate reality.
So basic math still applies at any higher level, whereas basic biology is contextualized by the exceptions and limitations pointed out by advanced biology.
Biology is complicated. Never forget when you try to make an argument based on it.

UK Politics@feddit.uk•British newspapers antisemitic cartoons of Zack Polanski
4·13 days agoFurther down you can at least see that one person actually learned and concluded that they’ve ostensibly been too sheltered to learn about this until now.
Ok, young people exist, but so many of them just loudly proclaiming they see nothing wrong is just alarming, no matter if they’re just clueless or Nazis rubbing their hands like their favorite caricature.

It’s alarming to me how many people here have no fucking clue how clear-cut antisemitic the top right one is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Merchant

3·14 days agoEmma Goldman, Karl Marx, Kondiaronk, and Frida Kahlo.
Emma ist a pragmatic anarchist, Karl has the theory, Kondiaronk is funny and used to pick apart Europeans’ bullshit, and Frida has the artistic angle in addition to knowing politics.
It’s so much worse. Mozilla never did anything as scummy as multiple things listed. All the Mozilla “controversies” are hugely overblown.

Science@mander.xyz•The disaster I never imagined having to worry about
2·21 days agoThe video is about polymorphism. Both tin pest and the drug incident that this video covers are instances of polymorphism where a less desirable polymorph is more stable. It goes into detail about similarities, differences and much more.

2·21 days agoNot only visual, it’s the exact same thing: polymorphism. It’s therefore an extremely relevant and fitting thumbnail, and chuckleslord is a fool for assuming otherwise without giving the video a shot.

Yeah, they probably inverted it because it’s weird to market a “slow” button
