I can do what you just did; What’s so silly about making a product after what it is: A cream that protects you from the sun? It’s pretty self explanatory. Meanwhile “sunscreen” is ambiguous and mildly sexual.

Sunscreens are films you put on glass to filter some of the light.

Incidentally, What’s sexual about cream? I don’t know why you said that and I think you’re telling on yourself. I left that part alone in the above because “suncream” and “sunscreen” are about as sexual as eachother to normal people.
