The irony is that this current conflict has made it more, not less, likely that Iran actually develops their own nukes. Well done Trumpanyahu, you played yourselves.

This was completely inevitable and predictable. If the Trump admin had been serious about diplomacy from the start, they wouldn’t have sent two real estate developers who are also Israeli assets to do the negotiations. They hoped the could bully Iran into submission and they completely failed.
I honestly don’t know where it goes from here. The best thing Trump could do is walk away. Just pretend the US won and pull all US military out of the region. But that would anger the Israelis and Trump would be roundly mocked by everyone else for fucking up so badly. On the other hand, winning militarily is basically impossible at this point without a huge influx of US forces on the ground, and even then it would take years to topple the regime.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - this has got to be the most astoundingly stupid self-inflicted humiliation in the history of US foreign policy.
The better, artist-centric option is Bandcamp. Buy albums and singles outright instead of streaming – the artist gets significantly more revenue.

Meanwhile, it is estimated that global supply is now around one BILLION barrels short, thanks to this ill-advised shit show.
That means it’s going to take months, if not years, for oil prices to come back down, contrary to what the stream of misinformation coming out of the White House says.

I realize this is cliché at this point, but I’m going to say it anyway.
Imagine this had happened under any previous President. Complete and total uproar. Calls for impeachment, etc.
And yet with this one, it’s just a Tuesday.
Ro Khanna in congress today:
Thank God Khanna and Massie are taking up this cause in Congress.
To pass this bill as-is would a be a disaster for the people of the Middle East and for American taxpayers for decades to come. To approve it now, when public approval for Israel is at an all-time low, would be an absolute fucking travesty on multiple levels.
Edit: aaand only 2 representatives voted in favor or Khanna’s amendment. They killed it.

The military-Israel complex wins yet again.
