Haha I just mentioned this in another comment. It’s like one of my favorite little food factoids. My daughter who is still just 3 has always eaten the whole apple, and it always made my wife worry she was going to die. I’m like nah she’ll be fine.
Is it true that you build up an immunity to cyanide by eating the seeds, or is that just an old wives tale kind of thing?
I haven’t tested it, but by now you should have built up an immunity to poison since apple seeds contain small amounts of cyanide. Or maybe it was arsenic. One of those… I’d have to look it up. But now you don’t have to worry about someone poisoning you.

They just keep getting bigger and bigger.

I went to an ATM in this fancier suburb on my way to meet up with a friend a while back, and they had this thing raised up so high because of all the SUVs and pickups that people must drive around there, I had to unbuckle just to insert my card. I was mildly infuriated in my little rusty sedan.
I mean yeah, all the electricity could stop working and then how would we get on the internet? I like to think about this scenario sometimes, how there would just be all this hardware laying around with all this data on it and no way to access it.
Yeah me too, except I think they understand it all. They just don’t fucking care and it makes me mad.
Damn that’s some fucking sad shit. Gave me some goosebumps.

I honestly never want to go on a cruise ship. I do not see the appeal of being stuck in a massive boat with however many idiots they can cram in there.

I thought there was only one Mexican country.

I read The Giver in the sixth grade and it blew my mind a little bit. I think it was the first time I was exposed to the concept of a dystopian society and it was very interesting to me. Then later in 10th grade I read Catch-22 for a book report and that is definitely up there too.

I am surprised at the amount of genuine discussion this meme has provoked here.

Lowered expectaaations…
I’m glad I’m not the only one that sees it.
I’m surprised they weren’t already doing that
