It’s when someone or somemany is close minded to learning new things, i.e. willful ignorance, that it’s a problem.

52·6 days agoWe disagree. Ignorance is not inherently bad, there’s always the opportunity to learn more. Willful ignorance on the other hand is a problem, because it means someone or somemany has no desire to learn.

It may be more accurate to say then that: Based on current understanding plants do not feel pain. However, that does not necessarily rule out that they do, more research may suggest that they do. Until then it may be a fair to assume that they do not.
