5 days agoPresented by research project that I’ve spent the entire semester on infront of the class. I don’t like presentations and it was a 50 minute long one with time for questions at the end.

Love my mom, she’s been in my corner through everything. She’s one of the first people I came out to and she’s done so much to support me over the years. She took me clothes shopping when I first came out, helped me with learning how to do my makeup, always gendered me correctly. I’m super grateful to have someone like her in my life. She’s such an amazing person and role model.

Breakfast
With my fuzzy white and light blue hoodie, I wear that combo all the time. Also with my light blue shoes, black and white choker, my rainbow heart bracelet, the bracelet my girlfriend made for me and a nice sparkly ring/my fidget ring.
The mattress and bed frame arrived earlier than they were supposed to! Started moving my stuff in, have to unpack now but it’s going well so far!
I could do some, probably not weekly but could definitely do a few
I don’t have the money for real luxury goods, and definitely not for the faux luxury stuff. Most luxury stuff I just don’t get the appeal, I like having more standout look to me, so I like finding things that no one really has. So trying to be in the “in-group” doesn’t work for me.
Most of my clothes are thrifted, including my football jerseys I own (shout out to the local vintage clothing store), I’m able to find some nice stuff when I go thrifting. Shoes are the only major exception even then though I got most of them on sale. A few pairs were rescued from sitting in boxes at my mom’s house, didn’t want them to go to waste now.
Most of my accessories were either cheap ones, on sale, thrifted for the bags, gifted to me (one of my women and gender studies professors gave me a bracelet that says “cunt” on it for international woman’s day a few years ago, love that bracelet and that professor), or I made them.
That’s enough yapping for now, hope this wasn’t too much of me rambling.
I’m very excited! A little nervous but mostly excited
I’m moving in with my girlfriend, currently waiting on a new mattress and bed frame to arrive. Hope that they get here earlier this week rather than later.

From my own experiences with being a man, and being seen as a man, I definitely got way more respect than I do now. I also got a good deal of attention, but it wasn’t the kind of attention you were talking about.
Being a woman I get a lot of sexual attention, literally just yesterday even. And definitely get a lot less respect from people than I used too, even when I am able to pass I get less. Got even less when I was visibly trans and couldn’t even remotely pass.

I think it went well, the professor really seemed to like it. Though he was obsessed with what we were working on all semester. To the point where it was getting really uncomfortable during our meetings with him.
I just hope my grade comes back good in the end.
And that he is never allowed to teach a seminar ever again.
