As far as I can see from the articles I’ve read, no.

I’ve used this for many years. Excellent software.
It was more than just notifications as it has been pointed out by another user in this thread
How is this story fake?
uBlock Origin, Bypass Paywalls Clean, Bitwarden, and SponsorBlock for YouTube are my favorite ones.
It does but really doesn’t need it since it has very good ad blocking built into it. Also, Brave isn’t considered a major browser AFAIK
