I mostly agree. The only Adobe product I miss is After Effects. I haven’t found anything that scratches that itch.
I use Blender (and others), but it’s not ideal for 2.5D effects.

11·2 months agoAll the nice bells and whistles that mint comes with: mostly cinnamon and the upgrade manager out-of-the-box. I’ve been using it for a few months, and I prefer it over stock debian and normal mint.

1·2 months agoI get 403 Forbidden messages seemingly randomly when I use the web interface. Sometimes it works great. No problems. Most times, not. No issues using summit.

01·4 months agoThat would just further disenfranchise creators, most of whom don’t make much (if any) money. Why would corporations fork out money for rights to stories/scripts/music when they can wait 10 years and get it for free? We have enough issues currently with corps stealing our IP to train their AIs, and then regurgitate almost exact copies to directly compete against us.
