Alabaster Dawn has just released into early access and it’s been absolutely incredible so far. I’m only about an hour in, but the combat feels really good, with tight movements and quick action. The story is interesting, and the graphics are astonishing pixel art. If you’re interested in action rpg’s at all, pick this one up!
I dug in a little deeper and found the problem. The one that was messing things up was called ‘Round main menu and QAM,’ coincidentally. The actual scripts were in a different folder which was called ‘themes’

The offending theme was ‘round main menu and QAM.’ After removing the folder everything works good again, and I still have all of my other customizations. I appreciate your help.

If I were to try the ‘re-enable them one at a time’ method how would I go about doing this? The only way I was able to get the QAM back was to delete the entire css plugin folder. I didn’t really go into the folder to explore further though

Is this on a per game basis, or does any game work? I’m imagining loading up some COD (modern warfare or modern warfare 2, I hate myself…) and playing some old school free for all

Just a point to consider that I didn’t see you mention: a lot of times those aftermarket controllers don’t work well with linux. The auxiliary/extra buttons aren’t able to be used. This won’t really be the case for steam controller since it’s made by valve and will have all the proper driver support built in.
My Razer wolverine V2 is a prime example.
Yes, why do people always want bigger. In my opinion 7" is plenty and my device has a 6" screen that is perfect. I can actually hold the device for extended sessions without getting fatigued.
