That’s exactly what the GraphendOS project did. IF you choose to install Google’s bullshit, which I did to use Maps and such, they run in a wrapper that makes them usable without the level of system access they typically require.

Awesome thanks. Also avoids the awful UI and forced login popup.

Yeah that explains why you think like a manager at a logistics company, not like one at a digital services provider that sells hardware on the side.
Their employees aren’t moving boxes around. Their employee count couldn’t be any less relevant to their logistical capabilities. If anyone has money to throw at the problem, it’s Valve.

Yeah because that’s totally not something you can outsource just as easily.
You’re arguing as if Valve is a logistics company.

The number of employees is pretty meaningless in this context, and it’s telling that is the only metric you cite. The number of active users would be far more meaningful.

I reckon that’s next on the agenda.
It’s actually copyright infringement. The label “piracy” has no original connection to it.

I can’t test it exactly right now as I’m on vacation, but from memory the 8BitDo Ultimate 2c is significantly quieter, and also more precise and long-lasting thanks to hall effect sticks. I got one for 21 bucks, it’s really solid.
Legally it does make all the difference.
The story of V is beyond stupid in some aspects, padding out game time enough that you don’t even realise the stuff you are doing makes very little sense. IV was written a lot better, and with better characters.
It’s not just culture. Most people value community and the well-being of others above amassing wealth (provided their needs are met). The problem is that capitalism indoctrinates us against those values, and even more that it rewards and empowers those who don’t share them at all.
