Corruption spreads particularly amongst selfish people. Once one person starts to be corrupt others see that they’re getting away with it and they start being corrupt too, after all why not, everyone else is doing it.
Of course none of this is helped by the fact that reform only exist as a political party for the benefit of the hyper wealthy so corruption was basically baked into its structure from the beginning. But that’s only for Farage and the parties upper echelon, not counselors, they’re not supposed to be on the take.
