Already having faced an energy crisis five years ago, more European consumers believe they are “one Trump-ignited war away” from crushing costs.

Could have had the same switch, but without giving everybody’s money to oil barons with a carbon tax-and-dividend system.

My utility has raised rates so much that they are in a death spiral. High rates make solar more attractive, which reduces revenue, investors and executives demand more revenue, so they raise rates, etc. My bill is broken down by generation costs and distribution costs, and distribution costs are a flat $.33 per kWh, while generation costs are as low as $.05 per kWh, all from renewable energy.
