Agreed, while I’m no fan of snus either if it’s a question of snus vs cigarettes or vapes, snus wins hands down. If they must ban something, banning snus before banning cigarettes makes no sense whatsoever.
Their argument seems to be that snus is easier to market for young people with flavors and whatnot.
So if that’s their argument, why not ban the artificial flavoring of tobacco rather than the product? Since they dont want to ban the product in its other forms.
Funfact: most snus sold outside of Sweden and Norway in the EU does not contain tobacco, as that is illegal anyway. It’s basically cellulose dipped in nicotine.
