    Some do indeed the same for Total Commander, UltraISO, and Sublime Text, I’ve seen, but I am sorry… why?
    For the dear years these programs have been supporting you… why not just… appreciate the authors with just a few lunches, or cups of coffee…?

      WinRAR makes their money with corporate licensing. Individual users are free to use it indefinitely, but corporations have to pay up.

        Can confirm, I use to work at a place that had over a thousand licences in 2010.
        I could never convince the dev to switch to 7zip
