I once had a warehouse job, and one of the tasks we had was destroying unwanted stuff because it was last season or manufactured slightly wrong.
I took as much of that shit home as I could, and gave it to friends.
Ah, artificial scarcity, how else could capitalism work if not dumping food instead of giving it, or not making enough homes for everyone?
Anyone ever think about their personal mountain of trash? Pales in comparison to what’s always been businesses as usual for the greedy but i wish i could visualize my impact.
My deep fear is that future archaeologists will dig through and judge my trash. I’m doing my best, everything just comes in plastic now!

Tell that to corporations who would rather not only throw out products, but actually destroy them so no one can fish them out of the bins and resell them.
