Would you vote for Labour in a general election (whether Sir Keir or Andy led the party)?
I think a lot of people on Lemmy support the Greens but I very much doubt that the Greens could stop Farage becoming prime minister. Labour are probably the best-placed party to do that.

No way. Labour are done. Reform will save us.
Yesterday’s immigration stats were abysmal.
Ah yes, Farage will save us from this issue essentially due to Brexit and hence of his own making
🤡🤡🤡
People voted for Brexit and got hoodwinked by Boris with horrific unsustainable increases immigration.
I never mentioned Farage, ya clown.
I mean, Farage is the leader of the Reform Party. When you’re promoting the party, it shouldn’t be too surprising when people point out that it’s being led by an absolute charlatan.
Why pick up on that point? It’a far less important than what I pointed out with the Boriswave of immigration.
I swear people here nitpick about anything.
You mentioned Reform, which is synonymous with Farage. 🤡
Edit: @[email protected] are you finished going through my profile downvoting every comment (again!) in random communities regardless of its relevance to the thread? Are you aware this is all publicly visible?
What a big baby! Classic Reform supporter, spits out your dummy and has a tantrum.
@[email protected] Who cares about downvotes. Stop stalking me.
Clearly you do otherwise you wouldn’t do it.
It’s not stalking to notice all of your comments suddenly have downvotes and look at why. It’s stalking to go through someone’s profile and interact with every one of their comments.
Bigoted weirdo.
Yawn. Go fake your pics elsewhere.
What would be your preferred rate of immigration? I think it might be sensible to say that if immigration happens too quickly then it could overwhelm services like the police and hospitals, but I don’t think that means immigration needs to be stopped altogether. There are immigrants in roles we depend on (such as doctors), paying taxes, and in some cases starting businesses and creating jobs.

@makingrain @moderatecentrist
There are 49,258 cities, towns, villages and suburbs in the UK. 50,000 immigrants would mean, on average, one extra person in each place. One.
Nonsense example with no bearing on reality.
@makingrain Numbers not your thing then?

Oh no not foreign people, of course they must be the root of all of the country’s problems even though they’ve only just arrived.
That’s a bit xenophobic.
