42, 46, and 57 years old. Nobody’s passing as a kid anymore
To be fair that was a pretty frequent joke in a least one of the two, maybe both. Its been awhile since I last saw it.
To be fair on my part, I’ve never seen any jump street properties, so I probably shouldn’t comment
At least the newer movies were pretty funny, but idk if they hold up since they’re a little older.
so I probably shouldn’t comment
Great idea.
That’s unnecessary piling on. I didn’t see anyone else mention how old they were, and I was curious, so I looked it up. Then I figured I wouldn’t make other curious people look it up, so I shared the information.
Why skip ahead to “24 Jump Street”?
For starters, Sony’s “Jump Street” movies are already a self-aware reboot of the 1980s television series starring Johnny Depp. Plus, the coda to “22 Jump Street” sees Schmidt and Jenko take on a series of other undercover missions that could serve as a potential “23 Jump Street.” The duo infiltrate a medical school, culinary school, firefighter school, dance school and seminary, then go to space and eventually become a video game and an animated series. Thus, Sony titling the forthcoming film “24 Jump Street” continues the running gag.
Who wrote this gibberish?
Maybe worth pointing out the end of 22 Jump Street has fake trailers for 23, 24, 25, and a dozen other Jump Streets. The AI explanation is nonsense
Nobody, most likely.
Chatgpt has opinons
Unpopular opinion, but how the hell is Channing Tatum famous? He’s a terrible actor; easily as bad as Taylor Lautner, and yet somehow his career keeps chugging along while the industry (rightly) shoved Lautner over a cliff after a while.
This all occured to me after watching the trailer for “Roof Man” or whatever the ridiculous name of his latest movie is.
So no Men in Black crossover?
24 White Men in Black Cant Jump Street
The triple crossover of the season
Would the 25th man be the one Black man in Black that can jump?
Nice guys 2 next please
It was ten years ago, so should it be set in the early 80s now?
Who wanted this?
Plenty of people… They’re fun, enjoyable, and silly.
Producers who like money!
It has been long enough that I am not optimistic about it working out.
I was hoping this style of clumsy unfunny comedy was done with TBH. I miss comedy…just not this.
Wouldn’t it be easier to just take a release calendar from 20 years ago, look what movie was released on what day and release remakes in the same order?
Next year we would see Pirates of the Caribbean remake, new Harry Potter, new Spider Man, new Shrek, new Transformers, I Am Legend remake, new Simpsons movie and 300 remake, among other things. So pretty much nothing would change but planning would be way easier.
Next year we would see Pirates of the Caribbean remake,
Semi-confirmed, although it’s still in limbo.

Coming next year. Also, posted in this very community.

Maybe they already do this…
As I was writing this I realized that they probably do :)
Finally.
