“Only in theaters” always seems really desperate to me …

The poster just says “in theaters”, and I’d imagine for a while that’ll be your only official option.

Unless a hero makes a camrip and you’re up for watching that or it gets on the high seas on some other way. I love going to the cinema and I also don’t mind waiting (couldn’t care less about this particular movie, though). It just feels super desperate to me for them to say that. “Please watch it in the cinema, we’re dying” (which might well be true). How about: “Experience it on the big screen” or something, I’m not in marketing. Frame it like the amazing experience going to the movies is (for most people).

But the poster doesn’t say only in theaters. The poster just says “in theaters” unless we’re seeing different posters somehow.
