Actually, there are tv programs which do expose corrupt practices and their effects on regular people. But they’re not headline material, no prime-time hook, no in-your-face reporting. Positioning and timing matter and these lack both in their daily/weekly slots.

We ought to make them more important, but it’s an uphill battle.
