I usually feel a sense of ease and connection when a theater collectively laughs quietly at a funny moment. A messy theater existing somewhere doesn’t change that moment into a bad one.
you can think something is funny and not laugh. PHM isn’t really a comedy anyway. comedies tend to get more laughs in the cinema because people are primed for it.
