Samsung has started showing Samsung Health users a controversial notice requiring them to consent to their data being used for AI training if they want to keep their data from being deleted.
Just curiosity. How the hell is US medical system set up that it’s even possible for a company thats not in any way related to health have acess to medical history and meds?
Like my countries medical system is fully digitized, but there isn’t even a way for a random company to acess this information.
My theory is you could probably feed it your medical history yourself, or potentially speak with whichever hospital would have it and ask them to share it with Samsung
When I changed dentists, I was told to ask my former dentist to give me my records to share it with them

A lot of this is info from smart watches, etc.
Fair, heart rate, weight and height would be considered as medical records. But meds? How can it figure that out if i don’t specifically tell it?
It can’t. But they give you a space in the app for you to tell it.
