    It is actually set up pretty well. As in clear roles for all companies involved and the companies have a history of international cooperation. Airbus and MBDA are multinational companies already.

      Deosn’t matter. France is involved so the project will in the end a) need to be produced in France by France to French specifications exclusively or b) be killed by France only to turn around and develop something alone that meets exactly the specifications they rejected when it was a common project. And thus we get -again- two parallel developments, delayed by a decades of course, and a low of French -again- crying about those stupid Europeans not understanding French genius.
