I mean, it was Taco Bell that figured out that their lettuce was involved and immediately recalled it from their stores and warehouses and notified their supply chain, and so far that’s been the only known source. But they’re sure there’s another way where it’s getting to people because a number of people who are affected didn’t eat at Taco Bell.
But my guess is that it’s mostly Taylor Farms produce (they’ve been involved in other outbreaks), that the supply chain will dump Taylor Farms produce (shame because the Iran war increased the price of fertilizer, so this means even more prices increases), and everyone will just forget that the CDC never did their job on this one and just blame Taco Bell. Which is partially fair, but also (like so much these days) focuses exclusively on one easy-to-point-at point while ignoring everything else involved.
