I’m genuinely excited for this. I don’t know the director well, but the main screenwriter, Mike Flanagan, has put together multiple fantastic limited series of horror for Netflix. I’m not seeing this for the Batman angle, but the horror angle.
Edit: cautiously in. He wrote the story but he’s not directing it. It could turn easily sideways.
On a better note, i just saw he seems to be releasing a new tv series based on another Stephen king book (and movies)… Carrie. So looking forward to that one.
