Unironically, people (including me) get too picky when there’s effectively infinite choices. Instead of settling for something that meets most of their interests, the task becomes finding the perfect thing for that exact moment, which basically nothing will fit.
Maybe we’d be happier with no content.

yeah, those were not the best examples, but it’s like, why do people drive drunk? Why do people smoke? Why do people scroll hopelessly into the void hoping to feel okay in super short bursts?
I just think, I want to live where nobody drunk drives, nobody smokes, nobody doomscrolls . . . . I just hate it.
