    Still the dumbest timeline

"Although Loomer may have changed her mind about Russia’s invasion, her bigoted views have not budged.

“One thing I really love about Ukraine is I haven’t seen a single Muslim here,” she posted on Saturday. “It’s so refreshing.”

But in the interview, she bemoaned how influential podcasters can spread misinformation."

She’s so close to getting that she’s one of them.

How much of a pathetic snowflake do you have to be to be exhausted from simply being in the vicinity of muslims?

I mean yeah it is dumb and bigoted… but it is also just weak.

Muslims can be pretty hard to live around. Since they built one near me I haven’t been able to sleep, and there’s been a lot of brown-outs. The dog’s been going crazy. Water bill went up too.

She’s just doing something to renew her declining influence.

“Turns out people were suffering but my head was so far up my ass I couldn’t give a shit. Then I realized midterms were coming up and, let’s face it, my party is fucking terrible… so I went to Ukraine and the suffering almost happened to meeeee!!! Can you believe it? I think Ukrainians are good now. Put me on tv.”

Does anyone care what Laura Loomer says? That’s a serious question, is she still popular in the dumb-o-sphere and has influence, or is she washed up?

Trump appears to be tracking Loomer’s trip, sharing video of her conversation with Zelenskyy on social media.

“Very good!!!” he wrote on Thursday evening.

    Great stuff but…

“One thing I really love about Ukraine is I haven’t seen a single Muslim here,” she posted on Saturday. “It’s so refreshing.”

Loomer blamed her indoctrination on getting banned by American social media platforms, leading her to try Telegram, where Russian media is widely shared.

Much as I hate this walling shit stain, she isn’t wrong here. All this quick “let’s ban controversial or problematic users” led to the obvious outcome that these users went elsewhere, and elsewhere were propaganda places where they got indoctrinated even worse than they already were to begin with

      Don’t worry she’s wrong af.

Storm front went online in 1990 and Liberty Net was created in 1984.

Also she’s a grown ass woman who is old enough (born 1993) to know that pre-social media verifiable sources exist.

There’s a character that was a “supe” back in the day, married to a Nazi scientist that gave her the powers. Then when the allies won, she came to America and came out as “liberty”. Scandal hit, and she disappeared for decades, but came back, changing her identity to “storm front”.

Banning an extremist doesn’t make that person less extreme. What it DOES do is close up the pipeline.

If you kick extremists off of large scale platforms, they won’t have large scale platforms to do their outreach and recruiting. Reducing their reach to obscure forums doesn’t make them dissapear, but it means random people who might lean that wat are much less likely to find them.

Stormfront will always be full of people who agree with stormfront. Bur their user base is a tiny fraction of what Twitter has. A nazi on twitter can reach billions of people and create more nazis. A nazi on Stormfront is just preaching to the choir.

Also, for the record, Laura got kicked off of everywhere because she was already an extremist.

Yeah that is a nice theory only it goes directly against what we’ve seen after years of doing this

We banned all the people we didn’t like (and be honest now, most bans are not because of extremism, they’re because of opinions that slightly misalign with the moderators) and now we have people who were slightly more right than we liked going to other places where they can talk, and these places will be much more right than that person is, and the person becomes more radicalized

You didn’t close a pipeline, you actually created one
