    Yup. It’s just not worth it to me.

    I deleted my FB acount many years ago (no worries, I know this is not a cool flex). There have been a few times when it was a real PITA that I didn’t have one any longer. When I looked into figuring out how to create a minimal-information profile I kept running into their insanely intrusive “positive identification” policies. Have learned to get along mostly just fine without it.

    And these assholes wonder why young people don’t use the platform.

      ha yep. i deleted mine when they made birthdate un-editable… i liked to change it regularly to keep people off my back.

      now when i see these stores its completely baffling that people bend over for this

    It’s super popular in Belgium, especially if you see rentals or second hands, also most events are advertised there.

    EU law has been protecting user privacy so it’s more difficult to implement such bullshit but maybe that will change.

    I haven’t deleted yet. All of my family is there, but it’s not on my phone, computer, or any device. I stopped giving meta space when I found out they mapped my network.
