          He didn’t have to get his hands dirty. Others did it for him, aided by plenty of automation, breeding, and cruel farming systems.

            Then why is there only one human there? What about the thousands of people who have died working in unsafe and unclean conditions to produce clothing, electronics, and the like for first world countries? I’m vicariously guilty for the deaths related to every burger I’ve eaten, but not for the iPhone I’m typing this on?

      Yeah, so did you and every living person. Most don’t kill by their own hand but absolutely through their lifestyle (eating meat, using anything with animal products in it, anything that affects the habitat of any animal etc.).

        Why are you saying “you” and not “we?” Are you somehow exempt from all this? I notice you’re saying “their” and not “our.” Why are you distancing yourself (even when you acknowledged “every living person”)? This kind of divisiveness does not help sway people over. We need to work as teams, not opponents, to enact healthy societal change.
