When I had my vaginoplasty I was pretty laid out for a while. It was pretty important for me to have someone there to bring me things I needed and to minimize how much I had to get up, so I’d recommend that if possible. Also, I was stubborn about taking my pain meds at regular intervals, which definitely increased suffering unnecessarily, so don’t do that.
