    Or a heat pump dishwasher? If he finds a way to turn a heat pump into lighting he’s got it made.

      There are heat pump dryers. They plug into 120v and can often work without a drain if your willing to empty them manually afterwards.

      Honestly, a heat pump dishwasher is probally fully possible but not necessary, as they only use like 5 gallons of hot water.

          A dehumidier is a heatpump, just one designed with “remove water” as the core function.

          I think the dryers probally are mainly really aggressive dehumidifiers, which also heats the clothes.

      Stirling engines have powered generators. No reason you couldn’t run a light on one. However it would be impractical for any real world house use for a long list of reasons in not about to type up.
