As some might remember, I wrote a series of articles from a former account on the topic of Kick-Ass Women from History. Then my account at the Lemmy instance I was on got deleted, along with all content. Stupidly I hadn’t kept local copies of the texts, so I was a bit crushed (to put it mildly) and stopped writing them.
I now have two questions.
- Does anybody have the old K-AWfH articles stored anywhere?
- Would anybody be interested in my resurrecting the series?
Why did your account AND all your content get deleted? I’ve seen people around the Fediverse saying that because of federation, you can’t expect a comment that you deleted to be deleted everywhere. And yet it looks like everything from your old account is just gone? Just scrolled through the old Women’s Stuff community and I can’t even see the posts there. Wtf happened?
I pissed off the owner of ttrpg.network by not being a nice, meek, quiet woman when attacked.
Oof, I have to admit that this is the kind of thing I was sceptical about back on Reddit when people were trying to recommend the Fediverse. Basically petty Reddit power moderators with the privileges of an admin. Surprised I haven’t heard of stuff like this in the Fediverse more often yet.
And this place could do with more content creators like you that aren’t just stealing memes, so this is double bullshit. Hope this person saw consequences for this.

It must’ve been so disheartening to just lose everything like that. Glad that it looks like almost everything has been recovered though.
