Just to play it safe, I deleted my comment. I didn’t see how playing along with someone saying that they’re dropping their husk could be offensive, and I’m still not sure that I fully understand if the words I used were offensive. I’m moreso getting the feeling that this is a safe place to be proud of who you are, and that teasing, no matter how indirect, is not the purpose of this community and is best left untold.

I feel terrible that anyone who scrolled past my comment could have felt less joyful about viewing this post. I have no clue if my words did offend anyone, but it seems obvious that my tone and intent were upsetting, and I’m truly sorry for that.
