France on Tuesday announced a “first of its kind” plan to phase out coal by 2030, oil by 2045 and gas by 2050 during a global conference aimed at breaking reliance on fossil fuels.
This effectively means no new fossil fuel equipment within a few years
meanwhile Australia is busy drilling for gas and oil and expanding coal mines.
The alternative is to remain dependant on Chinese gas and oil until they are no longer reliant on gas and oil. Is that a good idea?
Does China have gas and oil? I thought that they imported it all?
