The quote reminds me of things Eckhart Tolle, Carl Sagan, and Neil DeGrasse Tyson have talked about, among others. If anyone figures out the original source of teh quote, I’ll update the title, but my trail’s gone cold over here.

    The “quote” is beautiful and the sculptures are so ethereal, that was a nice pairing. The movement on the rabbit is wonderful, I love it!

      You’re the first person to comment, and it make me feel like it was worth the extra effort, compared to just uploading the image file and quickly moving on.

      I love the quote myself, altho I also find it interesting how some feel the same way, while others seem repulsed by it. Which in fact makes much sense to me, since we humans seem to chronically seek permanency and decisive answers to existential fears as we do. But I ramble on, perhaps… XD

        I can understand how that thought can be very polarizing to people. It’s why I love looking up at the stars and embracing my insignificance in the grand scheme of things and freeing myself from the burdens of the world for a time

        I like thinking about all the other eyes who’ve looked at the same stars and reveled in their beauty or used for navigation and how that’s connected us through time and across the world, and also at the same time looking at the vastness of space and shaking my head at the wars and suffering happening when it’s all meaningless

        I always do appreciate some words written by the author of the post and am more likely to engage…and please, ramble on!
